What actually drives the price
- Hardware before the first number. Sensor or gateway per machine means a capital bill before anything is seen. Tablet-first means the floor is live with hardware from a local shop.
- Per machine vs per user. Decides whether adding a supervisor or a wall TV costs money.
- Setup and training. Some quotes add a setup fee and per-day training; some include on-site setup.
- Licence term. Monthly with no contract, yearly, or one-time with AMC — the same feature list can be three very different cash flows.
- Add-ons. Auto-count boxes and controller gateways should be optional, per machine, quoted only when you want them.
- Exit. Whether your data is exportable and what stops working if you stop paying.
