Custom software

Custom manufacturing software, built on a platform that already runs factories.

Your routing, your inspection plan, your reports — as software your floor actually uses. We build it on top of OpeEye’s working shop-floor platform, for factories in India and abroad, with a fixed quote before any work starts.

Short answer

OpeEye builds custom manufacturing software — MES screens, job cards and work orders, quality checks with photos, traceability, dashboards and ERP links — to a factory’s own requirements, in India and internationally. Each build starts from OpeEye’s running platform (machine connections, offline operator tablets, downtime reasons, OEE and reports), so the work covers only what is different about your factory. Fixed quote after one call.

What do we build?

MES and shop-floor screens

What is running where, on which operation, by whom — across machines, lines and plants.

Job cards and work orders

Routing through every operation, with the quantity and time booked at each step.

Quality checks and inspection

Your own inspection plan on a tablet: first-piece, in-process and final, with photos and sign-offs.

Traceability

Batch, heat or serial number from raw material to dispatch, for the customer's audit.

Planning and dispatch boards

Orders, due dates and machine loading on one screen the whole team trusts.

Dashboards and TV boards

The numbers your management reviews, in your format, live — not a monthly Excel.

Tool, gauge and stores tracking

Life per tool, calibration due dates, stock that moves when the floor uses it.

ERP and accounting links

Production, rejects and job cost flowing into your ERP or accounts, without retyping.

Machine data

Counts, cycle times and alarms straight from Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens and Haas controls, or from a counting box on any machine.

How does a custom build work?

  1. 01

Show us how you work today

A photo of the register, your Excel files or a short video of the floor. One call to understand the process and who uses what.
  2. 02

    A fixed quote

What we will build, what is already in OpeEye, the price and the timeline — in writing, before any work starts.
  3. 03

A first version on your screens

Your columns, your reasons, your report layout — clicked through by your supervisor before the full build.
  4. 04

Live on the floor, then supported

We train the floor (remotely or on-site in Gujarat), watch the first weeks closely and keep it running.

Maybe you don't need a custom build

If you run CNC or VMC machines and want to see every machine, job and stop live with the reports written for you, standard OpeEye already does that: ₹399 per machine a month in India, $5 elsewhere. Many custom projects start there and add only the screens that are specific to the factory. See what OpeEye does as standard, or the page for factories outside India.

Send a photo of the register or the Excel sheet, or just describe the process. We reply with questions, then a fixed quote.

Questions factories ask about custom software

What is custom manufacturing software?

+

Software built around one factory's own process — its routing, inspection plan, job cards, reports and approvals — instead of a standard product the factory has to bend its process to fit. It usually covers the shop floor (what an MES does) and connects to the machines on one side and the ERP or accounts on the other.

What kind of manufacturing software do you build?

+

MES and shop-floor screens, job cards and work orders, production planning boards, quality checks and inspection reports with photos, traceability by batch or serial number, tool and stores tracking, dashboards and TV boards, operator tablet apps, machine data from CNC controllers, and links to ERP or accounting systems.

How is this different from hiring a software agency?

+

An agency starts from a blank page and learns manufacturing on your project. We start from OpeEye, a shop-floor platform already running on factory floors — machine connections, operator tablets that work offline, shifts, downtime reasons, OEE and reports are done. You pay for what is different about your factory, and you see a working first version early.

How much does custom manufacturing software cost?

+

It depends on how much is different from what OpeEye already does, so we give a fixed quote after one call, before any work starts. A factory's own register turned into a tablet app is a small job; a multi-plant MES with ERP links is a larger one. Standard OpeEye machine monitoring stays a monthly per-machine price.

Do you build for factories outside India?

+

Yes. We work with factories in India and abroad. Discovery, demos, testing and training happen over video calls in English; the software runs in the cloud, so your team uses it from anywhere, and support is by email, WhatsApp and video call.

How long does a custom build take?

+

A first version you can click through comes before you commit to the full build, so you judge it on your own screens and your own columns. The full timeline is in the quote, set by how many screens, reports and integrations the work needs.

Who owns the data and the work?

+

Your production data is yours: kept separate from every other company, and exportable at any time. What we build for you, and on what terms you can take it further, is written into the quote before work starts.

Can it connect to our CNC machines and our ERP?

+

Yes. Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens and Haas CNC controls are read directly through a gateway on your network; other machines are counted by a small box on the cycle signal or by the operator's tablet. On the office side we connect to ERP and accounting systems through their import, export or API.
